WATERS: Mom and Dad’s

WATERS looking fierce

Who: WATERS is an indie pop band based out of San Francisco, California. They have a very hippie west coast vibe often handing out flowers during their show and having a completely upbeat vibe. I saw them preform earlier this year as an opener to Matt and Kim and they stole the show, truly and incredible band. Mom and Dad’s comes off their 2015 album What’s Real which might be my favorite album of the year and certainly in in the pop music category. If you’ve never listened do them definitely check out their full album on Spotify.

Why: Well, first off it’s Thursday and you know what that means…wholesome board game nights with friends! In all seriousness though, this is the perfect song to throw into a pregame mix (in between Fetty Wap and Drake perhaps). It’s also all about having to move back in with your parents after college and if that doesn’t strike a fearful cord into the heart of every BC student I don’t know what does.

Live: Here is an absolutely killer clip of WATERS crushing it at Outside Lands last summer. There are no plans for WATERS to come to Boston but stay on the lookout because that’s a show you won’t want to miss.
